Scafell Pike, Great Gable, Dalehead and Glaramara are but a few of the fells that can be walked from the doorstep, with many less strenuous walks only steps away from the sofa. Fells and, of course, lakes are at hand with Derwentwater and Buttermere close by. It is possible to explore this exquisite area from The Barn by foot, car, bus, boat and bike or any combination thereof.
