Temple Mews (Visit Britain 4 stars) is an absolutely delightful holiday home converted from an old Cotswolds farm building. It is situated in the lovely and traditional Cotswolds' village of Broadwell, itself just 2 miles from the popular market towns of Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. Internally, the property has been beautifully converted to provide a very high standard of self catering accommodation for up to four people, with much thought given to the provision of modern features to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The accommodation is located on the first floor of the building (via 10 steps). Externally, it enjoys a very peaceful location, tucked down a quiet and private driveway and overlooks, and use of, an enclosed garden to the rear. Broadwell is a beautiful village situated in the Cotswolds' Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's history dates back to The Middle Ages when the estate of Broadwell belonged to the Benedictine Monks. It is recorded in the Doomsday Book that Broadwell had 48 inhabitants. The Church of St. Paul has part of it's structure dating back to 1086 and has been restored and added to over the years. Nearby are Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh providing a full range of local amenities (including train station with access to Oxford and London) with many of the Cotswolds attractions within easy driving distance, including Cotswold Farm Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, Blenheim Palace and countless National Trust gardens.
