A delightful 2 bedroom sandstone cottage, originally part of a small holding dating back to 1754, the cottage was converted from a barn. Set in peaceful wooded countryside on the edge of Townhead, the cottage is ideally suited to lovers of the outdoors. Townhead is a tiny hamlet 8 miles east of the historic border city of Carlisle and close to Hadrians wall. In and around the area are excellent opportunities for fishing, walking, birdwatching and golf to name but a few. The romantic Border Country and the industrial archaeology of the North Pennines are close by.
