Have a go at surfing horse riding or biking all activities catered for locally. Unspoilt inland countryside offers woodlands lakes moors and rivers. Many fine country houses and gardens can easily be reached such as Eden Heligan and Rosemoor. There are many good local pubs and restaurants catering for adults and children.
