Recently refurbished this property retains all of its original character and charm with oak beams large open fireplace and mullion windows. The old post box set into the entrance pillar to the property is a reminder that the cottage was once the village post office. Chastleton is a great base from which to explore everything the Cotswolds has to offer: The village is home to the Grade 1 listed manor house Chastleton House owned by the National Trust. The historic market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Norton are only 4 miles away. Bourton-on-the-Water Chipping Camden Broadway and Burford are all within easy reach. Within Chastleton there is horse riding and a Iron Age hill fort.
