This is a superb base for exploring the island and outer Isles; visit at any time of year and you ll be enchanted by the rugged beauty of the landscape. Brae offers shops garage post office hotels several excellent eateries boating club swimming pool leisure centre and sports facilities Shetland s main town Lerwick is only 25 miles away by car. Enjoy outdoor activities of walking windsurfing fishing cycling bird watching scuba-diving and sailing. There are many archaeological sites to visit. The islands vibrant cultural life includes internationally famous events such as the Shetland Folk Festival and a host of winter fire festivals including Up-Helly-Aa held in the capital Lerwick every January. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Shower room: with WC. Lounge: with flatscreen TV Freeview and DVD.
