There is a choice of shops pubs restaurants galleries and the Maritime Museum to learm more about the nautical past. Enjoy a seasonal river trip across to Instow with its sand dune beach or fishing trips in Bideford Bay. Walk the coast path to the nearby town of Bideford or to Westward Ho! which is just over 1 mile away with its 2 miles of sandy surfing beach.
