The village has a bustling quayside with its small shops cafes and restaurants and is a hive of activity when the fishing boats come ashore. Take a short drive over the river to the sandy beach of Instow. Also a couple of miles away is the sandy beach of Westward Ho! which is great for surfing and swimming. The region of North Devon has many attractions which include The Big Sheep The Milky Way Dartington Crystal and many more.
